Who we are

Data you send us
When you use a contact or quote request form, we collect the information you enter: name, email address, company (optional) and message.
This information is used only to consider your request and reply to you. It is neither transferred nor sold to third parties.
Legal basis: ARKOD's legitimate interest in answering the requests addressed to it (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR).
Retention period: this data is kept for the time necessary to handle your request and follow up our relationship, then deleted when it is no longer useful, unless a longer legal retention obligation applies or a business relationship has begun in the meantime. You may ask for its deletion at any time (see “Your rights”).
Recipients and processors
Your data is accessible only to the ARKOD team. We use three technical providers who process it on our behalf:
Hosting: o2switch (France) hosts the site and its database.
Content delivery and protection: Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States) speeds up and protects the site. Visits go through its servers, which process your IP address and technical connection logs. This transfer outside the European Union is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Email sending: Twilio SendGrid (Twilio Inc., United States) sends our team, by email, the content of each request received through our forms. This transfer outside the European Union is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your data is never used for advertising purposes or resold.
Security and technical logs
To protect the site against automated submissions and intrusion attempts, a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address (it does not allow the address itself to be recovered) is kept for a few days in order to limit the number of form submissions and login attempts. Our host may also keep technical connection logs (IP address, pages requested) to ensure the security of the service, under its own terms.
Cookies and audience measurement
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customise the cookies set on this site.
Necessary cookies (always active): a technical cookie (arkod-consent), stored locally in your browser for 6 months, remembers your cookie choice so that we do not ask you again on every visit. To be able to prove consent, your choice is also recorded on our servers in the form of an anonymous identifier, your choice and its date.
Audience measurement (only if you accept it): if you accept audience measurement cookies, we may use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, traffic sources). These cookies (_ga, _ga_<identifier>, _gid) are set only after your consent and involve a transfer of data to Google LLC, located in the United States. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser's browsing data for this site.
No advertising or social network cookies are used on this site.
Administration area login
If you have an ARKOD administrator account, a strictly necessary session cookie is set when you log in, for the duration of your session. It concerns only our team, not site visitors.

In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability regarding your data.
